Cheap touch screen mobiles are manufactured by Nokia, LG and Samsung. These phones may not be smart enough but can fulfill anyone's desire of getting an interactive device. Nokia – Nokia 5230 Supports 3G Network and memory card up to 16GB (70MB internal Memory). 3.2 inches screen with 360 x 640 pixels resolution is more than enough. Apart from regular features its special features include Handwriting Recognition, Proximity sensor for auto turn-off, Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate, GPRS, EDGE, WLAN, 2MP camera, Bluetooth, FM Radio, and GPS etc. It runs on Symbian OS v9.4, hence you can install quality applications of your choice. Java applications are also supported. LG –LG Cookie KP500 The configuration is very low in comparison to Nokia 5230. It only supports 2G network. Memory is expandable up to 16GB though internal memory is only 48MB. Screen size is 3 inches and resolution is 240 x 400 pixels. Phonebook is restricted to 1000 entries and call records to 40 dialed, 40 received and 40 missed calls. It supports only GPRS, EDGE, FM radio and Bluetooth. Camera quality is nice with 3.15 MP. OS is proprietary and Java is supported. Overall the phone cannot be matched with Nokia 5230. Samsung –Samsung Champ The configuration is also very low, even lower than LG Cookie KP500. The screen size is only 2.4 inches with 240 x 320 pixels resolution. Internal memory is only 30 MB. Memory can be expanded up to 8GB. Does not support 3G network and WLAN. Primary camera is only 1.3 MP. It has FM radio, GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth. OS is proprietary and Java is supported. Overall this phone is of lowest configuration among the three. If I had to go with one it would be Nokia 5230. LG Cookie KP500 and Samsung Champ both are low priced and low configured.

Well Nokia i s above in this range as t provides Symbian operating system with a very good quality music. LG can be said to have very attractive Home screen but it can't fight off the Nokia Symbian OS s60v5
