Yesterday Matt Cutts announced https://plus.google.com/109412257237874861202/posts/gik49G9c5LU that webmsters may have recieved "unnatural links" warnings in the last 24 hours. The information given seems a little confusing, because on the one hand he says "don't panic" because it may not be your fault that spammy sites are linking to you, but on the other you may experience a drop in traffic. Some additional analysis of these warnings can be found here: http://www.seroundtable.com/google-links-warnings-15461.html If you have received such a recent warning, what are your thoughts and what (if anything) are you planning on doing about it?
no error to my webmaster tool but does this happend & it's really effecting on ranking???? if ranking doesn't go down than it good but it, UNWANTED links, is effecting than what could be the next step to recover. every links are not possible to remove so what we have to do for getting on rank? is there any chances to get rank on site after penalized???? How many percentage are been recoved??? google point of view can change???? looking for some strong & effective answer. Thanks,
From what has happened to those who have previously received these warnings, Google allows a few weeks for webmasters to show what efforts they have made to clear up their link profile, and if they are not satisfied "manual action" is taken, i.e. a penalty. A penalty can be lifted by submitting a reconsideration request. But if you haven't received a warning, then as far as this issue is concerned you don't have a problem.
