Off page seo after panda and penguin update

Any off page seo strategies which are effective now after penguin and panda update?

Panda was not really about off page but since Penguin it is really difficult to say. For some sites what they were doing seems to still be ok but for other sites doing the same things it isn't.
You are someone involved in SEO, what are your views please?

 

Penguin introduced to avoid over-optimization , black hat stuffs while Panda was introduced to stop duplicated content issue. Both updates are really massive to avoid spamming from search engine.

Penguin is not about offpage but make sure that your backlinks should not be on spam website or low authority site.

I would like to give one suggestion whose novice in SEO. Never used black hat techniques as well as duplicate contents for boost up ranking. Do website promotion in natural way because SEO is not PPC when you can Advertise your service or product. It is a method to drive organic traffic.

 

Google quickly dropped the "over-optimization" tag for Penguin and instead said that it was to combat "webspam". They specifically mentioned spun articles containing links and sites with "unusual linking patterns" in the Official Google Webmaster Central blog published 24 April which explained what Penguin was about, so I don't see how you can say "Penguin is not about offpage". I would be interested to see the source of your information.

 

I mean was,Penguin is not only about offpage but it covered over-optimization and all the black hat stuffs which are people doing to boost of them ranking.

 

I think that the over-optimization term should be forgotten now. It was a casual remark made by Matt Cutts which has since been clarified. There is no "over-optimization", there is optimization and there is spamming.
Anyway, what the OP was asking was not what not to do, but which off-page activities would be effective now. Do you have any positive suggestions that would help answer the question please?

 

It seems,we forget original topic of this thread and has started to discussion on "Penguin". Yes,of course, there are few link building techniques which would give quality backlinks to improve SERP and those are following:

* Social Bookmarking
* Forum Posting
* Article Submission
* Profile Creation
* Web Directories etc..

I believe that "SEO is battle of ranking and every SEO expert has it's own weapon to win this battle".

 

As with all methods, I think it depends on how it is done. Perhaps the basic answer is that anything that worked before that wasn't spamming will still work now.

After Panda 3.9.1 - Updates -
There are some penalties and some changes in off page - Like
- Social bookmarks and other link submission strategies.
- You have to make genuine and ethical links with genuine content.
- Do not copy descriptions in various social bookmarks or any other link submissions taks.
- Only use copyscape verified content.
- Only use high PR - and Do follow submissions websites.
Its will help you to cover your ranking.

Let me know if you have any other queries.

 

These are old techniques and recycling old information does nothing to help the current situation. Are there any new and original thoughts out there???

After recently panda updation by google so many website get penalized and one of them mine also...
Ri8 now i m working again on the website to improve its ranking .....and i am succedding
I use forum posting, article submission, press releases, blog commenting and yeah ofcourse on high page websites only..Now we have to keep our eyes in quality submissions not in quantity submissions.
