i consider that if you are focusing your goal and also trying to no spam to much visitors and traffic will be a common presence for your site

all this info are worth to read but seo is not limited to this. there are lot of other factors that you need to taken care of as on site not only meta is important you also need to take care of content of website as site with original content is more likely to get top rank on SERP

These are old techniques..try new..concentrate more on guest blogging or blogging and social media websites. Googlebot loves new links from social media websites..Please try it..that might help you.
