Hello to all here, I am finalizing the keywords for one of my clients projects. While doing this I am getting confused somehow! So, I would like to ask, How many types of keywords are there! I am not having any confusion with types of keyword matching that is broad, negative, phrases and exact. I don't want to know any thing about that, I basically wants to know the types of keywords! I have heard somewhere about single word, multiple word, theme based etc. From other resources I came to know the different type of classification that is primary keywords and secondary keywords, And so I am Confused what are are the specialties among these. keywords plays very keen role in SEO. There are highly competitive keywords and less competitive keywords. Highly competitive keywords takes time and require efficient work to accomplish rank in search engine.
Dear, According to me there are two type of keywords Primary keyword and secondary keyword Primary keyword Primary keywords are the ones(mostly one or two) that are given the most importance while optimizing a web page.They appear on the most vital areas like the header – footer – inbound anchor text – H1 tags – Meta tags etc. Primary keywords should be repeated with a certain amount of keyword density through out the page. Secondary Keyword The secondary keywords are the ones that are less important and supports the primary keywords for its marketing.They are many a times combination of one or more keywords and can be used with or without more combination at different places.They form the lesser proportion of keyword density.They are keywords that other sites have already optimized for and therefore may be difficult to break into the top 10 search engine page results.
