plug in

    I dont know a shit about C, but maybe you can help me
    I want to do a plug in for a rtf editor that highlights user-defined syntax.

    Any standard compliers does that highlighting and I could not see the reason to invent the wheel all over again.

    Told you that i dont know about C neither of compliers nor datapliers. In summary not one plier at all. So dont blame me. Well, can you explain me whats a complier?

    A compiler is a computer program that translates a computer program written in one computer language (called the source language) into an equivalent program written in another computer language (called the output, object, or target language).

    Now the IDE provided by the Standard compilers does what you are willing to with the rtf editors
