Best web design software?

Currently I am trying myself with Dreamweaver and just wondering what program would you suggest?

 

+1 to dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is the easiest web design tool your can have. With photoshop it will be more easier to handle.

Somebody could blame me that i'm old fasion, but for me, Notepad++ it's the single tool that i'm using because i love to have full controll to my code

Expression Web 4 because it auto closes tags, auto adds double quotes for attributes and overall allows you faster site creation. It may not have spry like dreamweaver but spry adds bloated JS code when you could just use jquery and a jquery plugin. It also allows you to run php pages from the browser using the php-cgi.exe if php is installed and comes with an asp.net testing server. Of course aptana 3 is also good to.

 

Freehand is also good web site design software.

 

personally like dreamweaver but nthng useful there other than the little intellisens eprovided (really love that )
its design view ALMOST useless for a heavy coder

 

I used both Dreamweaver and Frontpage, personally think Dreamweaver is more powerful.

As per my opinion dreamweaver is best software for web designing.. And Photoshop is also good software for designing layouts.

My choice is dreamwaever and it works amazingly,Frontpage is good but just a little convential way of designning,DW is simply aweosme to use and interactive design.
