Re: Help needed to get PHP Job

This is the story of many nowadays and its always better to get some freelancing work to get started and remain in search of a Job.

Just waiting for a job call can make you more frustrated.

Hi Jim, I agree with Shabbir. Why don't you start freelancing. If you are looking for projects on freelancing, find on elance, odesk or LimeExchange. These are the best marketplace for finding freelancing jobs. besides, LimeExchange is offering an affiliate program too that gives you a chance to earn 50% commission on project fee plus $0.1 per registered leads. I wish you goodluck and hope to see you blooming with wealth soon.

All freelancing sites have same or similar Affiliates and so I would suggest you try with the Affiliates of RentACoder which has highest % of total sale generated.

I agree with others here and you are at right place. I recommend checking out various job boards to find out what skills are in demand. From there, work on building your experience with various systems, frameworks, and basic language. If you can do this and work at it, you'll have what it takes to be a professional web developer. Not just a PHP programmer.

maybe i can help you on some aspects like tips and ways on how to find jobs. as far as i know, the job description that you fit with won't be bad as i know as a job seeker to find. you'll just have to give more effort on finding jobs. many sites could help you find jobs, online job finding is one way could help you. you'll just need to be patient in times of seeking jobs. building and enhancing your experience with those programming languages will be more easy for you to be on fit with the jobs offered and it will not that hard for you to find jobs. a programmer like you maybe as patient as i do, an effective programmer possess that special skill;))
