I need some help with harassing emails my wife and I have been receiving from someone claiming to be "Jan Bell". We suspect this person knows us on a personal level, however it all began earlier this year when my wife was contacted on MSN by said person. It seemed suspect to me from the start and my wife continued to chat to this person despite my concerns, this person divulged very personal details about her relationship and her job, which my wife thankfully didn't reciprocate. Then last month we decided to get rid of this person so we set a trap, this person fell for it and then became very aggressive, to the point where they let their guard down and low and behold divulged a little more than then wanted to. I've tried the usual tricks to see if "Jan Bells" IP filtered through, however seeing as it was a hotmail account that was never going to happen. I've found several sites that give a generic area from which the account has been registered to, however i'm not sure I can trust the accuracy, especially as it asks for money to find out the persons personal details. ideally I want to know who this person is, so can anyone help me either break this persons password, or suggest a way to trap them? I have no clear idea who this person could be, I have suspects (those I believe would be this malicious) to pose as Jan Bell and engage in detailed conversations with my wife.
