I live in a WiFi hotspot, but the only network i pick up is secured. Is there a way to crack the network so i get free internet?????
I am working on a VIDEO about it. I am in INDIAN so i dont have HOTSPOT. I showed my idea to my friend in US and he tried it and that works. SO he is gonna go to their place in about couple of days to make the video. That will help you. TIll then u will need to wait because this idea is all about MAC ID spoofing. And i can not explain everything in here.
Yes, you can spoof a mac id, and it's really not hard, I'll post a tut about it in a little while when I have more time Now, you won't necessarily need to spoof the MAC ID, very few people will place the protection on their WIFI network that you need to be a certain MAC ID. I don't know how ethical the question the OP has is, considering in the US cracking into a WIFI network will land you up to 10 years federal time, but, it's quite easy to do. Just google it. Does your wireless card support passive monitoring? If so you can get this done quite easily. Download the free Virtual Machine, VMWare Player. Then download the Backtrack 3 distro for VMWare. It contains EVERYTHING you need to hack a WIFI network. If there isn't a tut here, I'll post one later on when I get a little time.
