    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Complete the objectives of each assignment within the agreed timeframe.
    Liaise with co-workers in sites overseas, and internal customers on requirements analysis, design, testing, user training, implementation and support issues.
    Participating in project/work planning sessions with team members to analyse requirements.
    Translating business requirements to technical requirements and high/low level design
    Ensure technical requirements are properly followed in application code and modules.
    Developing and integrating applications per written specifications.
    Aiding in the preparation of status updates for projects.
    Making modifications to existing applications and modules in accordance with written specifications and industry standards.
    Lead reviews of own work and the work of the team.
    Trouble-shooting problems in production systems.
    Assists system implementation when necessary.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS
    Technical and/or Functional skills
    Minimum 7 years of experience in multiple positions relating to technology development.
    Strong programming and designing experience in .NET framework using C#, knowledge of web development with ASP.NET will be a big plus
    Strong skill in analysis and design for .NET platform
    Proven experience on .NET and Oracle (developer) technologies
    Solid working knowledge of writing high level and low level technical designs for the project
    Hands on experience in design & analysis and troubleshooting issues

    Other skills and abilities:
    Good spoken and written English
    A proactive team player with the ability to work in dynamic environments;
    Work independently, takes ownership of problems within own area of knowledge and accountable for the quality of own work;
    Ability to work under tight deadlines with high stress tolerance;
    Willing to work late for teleconference with overseas developers occasionally, to provide technical support over telephone to assist first and second level support, round the clock;
    Passionate about new knowledge and should help team adopt new technologies
    Have good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and comfortable in cross-cultural environment;
    Highly motivated in problem solving;

    Project Summary and Position Overview:
    Architecture leadership/consultancy
    Coordination of architecture activities and outputs of major programmes
    Technical Governance

    Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
    Implement technology strategy and enterprise architecture.

    Qualification:

    Strong understanding of either real-time systems or desktop technologies and the hosted or deployed systems that support them.
    Ability to bridge business and technology (e.g. ‘hybrid’ skills).
    Strong skills in the areas of elicitation, analysis, abstraction, patterning, modifying, influencing and persuasion.
    Demonstrated leadership qualities.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Ability to influence senior management.
    Proven team player & self starter.
    Demonstrable track record of architecting enterprise wide solutions.

    Enterprise Architect (Massive Data Process)- Beijing, China

    Role: Data Architecture Leadership in Beijing facility.
    Major focus: Project consultancy & technical governance
    Supporting roles:
    Acting as local touch point for data strategy and policy formation & review.
    Local support for best practice guidance and data architecture practice formation.
    Helping to develop solution and enterprise architects locally.

    Abilities:
    Managing technical governance process locally, in sync with Data Architect Group governance lead. Ability to take lead governance role in data-centric projects, especially if large DE projects are subject to RPD
    Able to provide consultancy value-add to key projects, so experienced in practical data architecture and in applying strategic goals to individual projects in a practical manner focussing on the solution; how projects organise/manage data assets and implement/consume interfaces
    Able to help resolve conflicts and facilitate collaboration between teams and projects
    Able to improve the maturity of the data architecture function (irrespective of organisational structure)

    Talents:
    Able to work independently but in collaboration with local Chief Architect Office, Data staff
    Able to show technology leadership – having credibility and being authoritative

    Skills:

    Technology specifics / depth good to have but not essential
    Data process experience in a large organisation is essential
    Data analysis and modelling skills: background as a practitioner is essential; experience with data modelling and management tools is essential.
    Practical programming and/or design skills associated with interface implementation (API or message-based) would be an advantage.
    Business analysis skills in regard to data are important.
    Good communication skills – able to lead data architecture practice sessions locally, able to influence senior technical management locally.
    Broad understanding of technology and the issues that arise when employing technology on a large scale.

    Prerequisites:
    Education is important but not essential; extensive experience and ability to learn is essential
    More than 9 years working experience in Data Architect and Design experience, expecially in Massive Data Process, Data Analyst and Date Modelling
    Knowledge of financial markets is highly desirable
    Experience in a company whose product is information (rather than a BI/MIS background) is preferred but not essential
    Experienced in EA in a large, geographically diverse organisation
