I have launched my forum recently. Now I would like to discuss with you the most effective forum promotion methods! What advices could you provide on forum policy and rules? What restrictions should I apply for a forum at the first stages? Any other advices and recommendations on how to promote a forum effectively are welcome! Thanks in advance!

Here are some of them that I would like to share

    1. Make use of the signature of the forums in the same niche as it gives benefit of getting some very good targeted visitors as well as conversion to user ratio is also good
    2. Get yourself some good content which people would love to interact and post on.
    3. Forums would never become famous overnight and so be patience.

Yes, I see, thanks! You know the situation is the following I have some ammount of traffic now, but still have no registered users! The most difficult problem for me is to convert website visitors into registered forum users!

Thats true for any new website and instead of focusing on growing users focus on growing content and users would end up eventually
