    hi all
today mostly users use the windows operating system and they all are happy because as we all know that windows are user friendly operating system and easy to use but man I also use the windows but i hate the windows admin restrictions and I always tries to break it and finally I get the result and now I m so happy because in my college I m able to break the windows restriction and U can also do it so r u ready man so start it
for this great job you need some accessories like

"Ophcrack is a Windows password cracker based on a time-memory trade-off using rainbow tables. This is a new variant of Hellman's original trade-off, with better performance. It recovers 99.9% of alphanumeric passwords in seconds." <- taken from sourceforge.

    What do you need:
    1. Physical contact with the computer.
    2. CD with Ophcrack on it.
    3. The computer must be able to boot from CD(which shouldn't be a problem).
(you don't need limited user access or anything else)

    How to use:
(First download the image file from the provided link, and burn it to a CD.)
After you have the Ophcrack Live CD:
    1. Make the computer you wanna crack in to boot from CD. For those who don't know how, just enter into the BIOS and search for a boot priority, just change the sequence to boot from CD first, save changes and exit.(if you don't know how to access the BIOS search google for it, also google may help with the boot priority).
    2. Enter the CD and reboot. It will boot up to linux, and you'll be able to handle it from there. It might ask you 'which partition' you wanna scan, and everything else will be done by itself. It will find the password for every user on that disc partition.
    3. Have fun!;)

This will work as long as user accounts are found on the local computer. But most networks boot of the domain like in a college for example so this will give you a handfull of useless admin and Windows utility accounts that won't really do you any good if your logging into the domain.

that means that if you are able to get into the cmd you can just as well type in this command:

    net user Administrator 1234

    to change the admin password?

Well it depends most schools have 2 diffrent login systems 1 is the normal 1 and the second one is the one the kids/teachers login i guess you could say a virtual machine almost so you can change the password all u want but when u change it its only affecting the vitural and not the real so when u log off or reboots everything is back to normal

Although this is a good program, I still ran into a few problems when using it. When getting the passwords, it said "IT" Password: Not Found. Can anyone help me with this.

Here is the link for the Ophcrack CD for Windows XP and Windows Vista

    http://ophcrack.sourceforge.net/

Yeah i tested this one, its working i.e For windows xp successfully got the admin password (upto 14 charcters only)

and Vista is for only 6 characters there in the website and the cd readme file you can see this information.

Very happy when i check and found the password. Any other more information you people got .
