    Hi everyone,
I'm new at hacking, and I won't to learn how to break into sites for start, and then computers and everything else... I had a lecture from a security expert who used to be a hacker, and he explained how to hack and gave us names of tools used to hack such as Nmap, Nessus, Wireshark, key enable, Metasploit Framewok, Hping 2, Cain and Able, John the ripper and so on...
For start, how can I use any of these programs? As I said, I'm new in hacking and didn't even managed to run Metasploit Framework for example. I tried also using Cain and Able to do something, but I didn't manage to do anything.
So, I want to start from the beginning - What is the most easy hacking action that I can do and how can I do it?
If necessary - I know C#, PHP, JS (a little) and Flash. And my English is not so good, so please forgive me for misspelling and grammar mistakes.
    Please help,
    Ofir.

There is a sticky note at the top of this forum that has all the most important links you will need, start by going through those links and then start by reading up on those tools that you have i.e Cain & Abel has a very nice Help file that explains how to use each function of the program and also explain those functions. You can get the latest version at http://www.oxid.it (website is in the sticky note). Read up on cryptanalysis and brute force attacks, along with DoS attacks here is a link to guide through all that http://www.go4expert.com/search.php?searchid=124493 find some articles I wrote and read them. Then you will need to get a linux partition on your hard drive to make some things in life just a bit easier. Tell me if you need more.

Thanks for the help, but what I need is to know where to start... can you tell me something easy I can start with? I tried using the Cain and Able for sniffing, but I didn't understand in the help file how to do it... as I said - my knowledge in hacking and things that are related is close to zero. I know some hacking methods that can be done without knowing how to do them (for example, I know that sniffing is getting information passing through the internet, and I have no idea how to get it...). In addition English is not my mother language, so it's hard for me to understand things... I have no clue how hacking works and it sounds imaginary for me to go into someone's computer...
I guess you all started somehow, so I need something to start with... now I'm just reading the links in the sticky note, as you said.
What I'm trying to say is that I feel like I can't do it, that it's beyond my abilities although I know I can do it, so I want to make that feeling go away by doing something that is considered hacking.
    Please help,
    Ofir.

first focus on what s the thing u wanna do and proceed after that. U cannot become a hacker overnight. U should learn some stuff and after that u shud apply it. So first find whats ur interst in hacking and learn that. Best of luck

I tried using a program called Sqlmap 0.5 but it didn't work. I saw that its py file, so I downloaded python and run the file, but it showed a dos window that appeared and suddenly disappeared without giving me a chance to see what it says. Is it because I have vista or something?
