I have a PC with WinXP installed. Since after installing this, the PC is slow especially while more browser windows are open. How can I speed up the PC?

Upgrade your XP and if it does not solve the issue increase the hardware configuration of your PC

    My pleasure

By Upgrading the XP I meant to get the latest SP and updates available from MS.

I can tell if you have some basic configuration known to us but you can always increase the RAM for some performance gain.

Upgrading this to 512MB or 1 GB is a good option.

For that you need to contact your local vendor or search in ebay.

Increasing virtual memory will actually degrade the performance of the system because when your system needs extra memory it pulls the memory from the permanent media i.e. Hard disk and that operation will always be slower. So its always good to have the high speed memory enough and keep the virtual memory to a bear minimum for optimal performance.
