I know this sounds rude but I tried going to a few sites for help, I then somehow ended up in this site under google's engine.. so i need someone to help me constructing this program under c++ Basically, I want to design a program for my huge video collection... so i can share in my site instead of making like over 100 threads.. here is the layout of my program so basically on the layout, this is how it works.. click on the select tab to use the jump menu then select which movies or series i want to choose from... so once i have selected the movie or series, it will direct me to the "click on one of the episode" so i will choose which episode for (e.g. jericho).. then once i clicked on the episode, it will generate the download link for me on the bottom which allows me to highlight it and copy to the browser.. does anyone here knows how to make this program? i just want someone to make the program for me so i can start inputing all the movies and series and links inside the program so user doesnt have to browse through all the threads to look for my collection..
I would suggest that this belongs in the Jobs:Employer forum, even if the amount you would like to pay is zero. There are hobbyist programmers, but most serious programming is a professional endeavor. One definition of a professional is that they charge for their abilities.
oh okay thanks.. but is this an easy task because im trying to find a programmer that can make the requirements i want.. altho i dont have the money to pay the programmer, im hoping if someone can help me do this for free its not that i am being cheap, just that i dont have paypal or anything to pay with
Here's how it would work for me: I'd require you to specify more than you have so far, including the source of the information that goes in the various sections of the form. When I had that, I'd write a detailed specification for what I'd provide, and what you would have to provide (if anything). When that specification had been hammered out to each of our satisfactions, I'd send you a contract concerning payment and deliverables. Payment would be calculated at a rate of $60 per hour for the time I felt that it would require me to do the job. In addition to the contract being legally enforceable, for an unknown client I would require 25% to 50% of the payment upfront. You might want to check out some freelancer sites, because one can often get some novice (usually a teenager) to do things for next to nothing. One usually gets what one pays for, in that regard.
oh damn $60/hour?!.. i dont think i can afford to pay that.. er, yeah i guess you got it, im a teenager.. anyways, do u know any freelancing websites i can perhaps ask for? because i want this program down by this summer i am thinking, if you want, you can put your paypal donation url into the program so that way people can donate to you.. for sure, this program will be spreaded around over 100k of people.. i dont know if your interested..
If you have a letter of intent to purchase from 100K people, let me know. A hundred thousand people intent on getting free product of questionable quality are of no interest to me, whatsoever. One hundred thousand times zero is, guess what?
