Schema Markup forms an important aspect of SEO. Specially after 2011 when popular search engines like Google, Yahoo etc. collaborated to form Schema.org. Schema is nothing but a code that is integrated into the website to enable search engines provide information and results for users.
Schema is used in case of the following:
    - Organizations
    - People
    - Videos
    - Snippets
    - Reviews etc..
Also I have written a small article on benefits of schema markup I think you would like to read and please give me a feedback about my article. I really thankful to this forum because till the day I have got lots of new things to learn and discuss here with really nice persons.

Schema markup is code (semantic vocabulary) that you put on your website to help the search engines return more informative results for users. If you've ever used rich snippets, you'll understand exactly what schema markup is all about. The schema markup told the SERP to display a schedule of upcoming hotel events.

When you use Schema markup for categorizing words and phrases in your website's HTML, it helps the search engine crawlers to understand the content on your pages. This helps your website stand out in the organic search results.

In SEO (Search Engine Optimization), a schema is a type of structured data markup that is used to enhance the way search engines understand and present information on a website.

Schema is a standardized format for organizing and marking up data on web pages. It uses specific tags to define different types of information, such as events, recipes, reviews, products, and more. By adding schema markup to web pages, search engines can better understand the content and context of the page, and may display rich snippets or other enhanced search results in response to relevant queries.

Implementing schema markup can also help to improve a website's visibility and click-through rate (CTR) in search engine results pages (SERPs), as rich snippets and other enhanced features can make a website stand out and provide more useful information to users.
