Hi Shipra, C is used for system oriented programming meaning - You can write your own interrupt programming which can deal with system resources. Alike any other languages we have bunch of functions which deal with Input /output devices , File systems & memory management. to get an idea you may refer "Let us c " book - as a beginner it will help you understand c basics very well.
