Help me by answering this

write a program in C language without using loops but use any of other logic to find the output c an integer that should be multiple of one input and also closer value to another input?

@coderzone i m ready to do this. i ll explain this with example if a=4 & b=37 and the output should be 36.. use any language. pls help me... i had this question in one interview..

 

One line of code can get this done.
int x = b/a;

 

@shabbir thanks for the response sir. The output value should be multiple of one input and closer(that may be greater than or less than) to the other input. But for ur code if a=7,b=38: x will be 5.42. i have to get 35 as output.

 

Sorry My mistake.

int x= (b/a)*a

I missed the final multiplication.
