Oscar 2009 - what your think?

What are you think about the Oscar 2009? Why this is stupid indian movie won to varied nominations!??? I'm dissapointed!

I think that there were a lot of GREAT movies.
Slum Dog Millionare was sadly not one of them.
At all.
If anything, the obvious choice was Dark Knight.
If not that, then something else that I saw.
Maybe Benjamin Button.

 

I agree that slumdog was not that great but yes good enough to get one or two oscars Max

 

Maybe in the sundance/foreign film sort of way, it just harkened back to movies like
Maria, or that whale rider movie.
Or even the Pianist.

But no way should it have taken down the huge block busting titles like:
Dark knight
Benjamin Button
Frost Nixon
Defiance
Wanted
Iron Man
Tropic Thunder
In Bruges
