c,c++,java will really help you...get your data structures really strong... they will help you not only in college but in later stage a lot too...trees, graphs, sortings, pointers, start using code blocks rather than TC, trust me. In real world no one uses TC...(i am switching over myself...)

Before i do, I wanted to ask you, why batch programming? Will it be really helpful? What are you doing? Studying? Whcih year? What all you already know? What are your interest? You'll be doing a 4th year Project? Why don't you learn something that will help you in that. There's nothing wrong in learning that, but i would say there's so much to learn in computers, that I think we should be selective and be master of few rather then jack of all ;)

And moroever, if you need help like this, post a question in forum, and besides you can search on google like i Did. Also you can go for book searching from torrents and direct download sites. If you need name of those sites let me know, i'll give you a list of it :)
