Windows!!!

    Hello, I'm a beginning c++ programmer, and I am almost positive that it's possible to make the c++ generate a windows GUI, rather than a boring command prompt. This IS possible, right? If so, where could i find a good tutorial? PLEASE HELP!!! (By the way, I'mm attempting to create an image manipulation and recognition program.)

    go through the tutorials on wxDevC++ or TurboC++ Explorer, both of which are free, one of which is open source (wxDevC++)
