Salted Passwords

    Just out of curiosity, is there any way of discovering the salt word a site uses if you know the real password and the MD5 hash of the real password and the MD5 hash of the salted one? Is there a link between the two?

    Most of the sites uses 256 bit encryption engines. so i think its tough to find out.
