I'm trying to send a RTS (Request-to-Send) from one station (laptop) to another (not an AP) on a WLAN. I've searched and have found discussions such as sending a RTS to an AP by turning RTS on but that isn't what I'm trying to accomplish. Specifically, I want to calculate the time it takes from when a RTS is transmitted (start of timer) to a station to the time the CTS (Clear-to-Send) is received back (stop timer) in order to determine distance between the two stations.
