java: what is (SQLException e ) and ( IOException e)

    Hi Everyone,

    What is ( SQLException e ) and ( IOException e )? Anyone can explain to me?
    coz i have no java experience, i need to understand it then convert to bash script.
    how can provide the logical for SQLException e and IOException e, so that it will easy for me to do convertion.

    I really need you all to help, i am headanche...
