hi friends i don;t know much about CPU Pls guide i need a guidence for you expert people my two CPU i have to leave one i am confuced which is better performance i have intel P-II 450mmx, Slot -1 , 512 KB cache , Cpu another is AMD Duron - 750, D750AUT18 with slot - A (soket - 462) i need to keep any one with home use and some what of 3D -CAD and design perpose any one can guide me which cpu gives me best performance and which should i keep ??? IS AMD- Duron AMD Duron - 750, D750AUT18, As equal as intel P-III 500 ????? is that true ?? thanks for your advice Nil - toronto
P II has a speed of 450 Mhz and your AMD has a speed of 750 Mhz and so it seeems AMD is better CPU as far as speed is concerned. There are also other factors like what is harddisk speed and how well it gels with the bus speed, mother board ... No AMD is better as its speed is 750 Mhz and P-III is 500 Mhz.
yes the amd is better .. but y are u using such an old cpu? 1.5 ghz cpu are dirt cheap to buy and way better performance
