I want to know.Is it Possible to gain rank in search engine doing only on-page optimization?.If your answer is yes then how much.means in which page maximum my website will come on search result?

I think it is not possible because SERP also depends on the backlinks and traffic and success in these two can be achieved through promotion of the site only, and promotion can be done only through the off-page processes.

 

well some time ago it was possible and i mean here around 7-8 years ago. now you are eaten alive if you do only on page optimization

Previously there are only few websites exists on the web and only some companies with high profile will took the risk of investing on websites. Now the competition is too high that if you are not promoting the site you will hardly get the business and your poor competitors will took the delight.
You can check this fact by putting any search term (single search term) on the search box and see the keyword competition, it will show you the number of websites competing for that term.

 

well the problem is simple: the old sites, good websites that already have a high rank will they still be in a high position if they stop promoting live SEO for example?
