I have to make a website that has the ability to allow users to enter their Email SMTP, name and password so that they can read their email in my site. Further, they need to be able to mark their email messages as being connected with some of the other parts of the site. For example, if they have an image hosted on my site and they receive an email afterwards they might want to associate that particular email with that image. Does anyone have any tips on how to do this? Any advice of any kind would be appreciated. How do I get started?
