Re: help
Please provide some appropriate title to your threads so that people at least like to see the thread even if they have some or no idea. Probably your Help like thread will not interest many.

I would suggest you go through Before you make a query thread.

Re: help
While you're learning how to post a question, you can also be learning how to design.

Consider your problem and write in your native language the basic steps that you would need to follow to solve the problem. You'll find that you have named a few of them in your question. Formalize that a bit, then consider your langage of choice and look around in it for the types of operations that will perform those basic steps. Put them together.

Come to the forums for help when it doesn't work. Provide plenty of information on how it's failing to meet your expectations. Tell precisely the error messages you receive. Show the snippets of code that are producing those errors. Show additional code or information that pertains to those areas. Use a debugger or output statements to gather additional information.

Don't say, "it doesn't work." That doesn't help at all. Put a meaningful subject to your questions. "Help" is not a good search term for either people looking for a solution, or looking for a problem to help with.
