301 redirection and other issues?
Hi,
What will happen? My question is - if I set up 301 redirects on both domain1.com and domain2.com, both pointing to my new domain mynewdomain.com, would google then treat these two domains' backlinks as backlinks for mynewdomain.com, or what they consider about this? Any idea suggestion welcome..! Thanks |

The code "301" is interpreted as "moved permanently". .htaccess file is used to create 301 redirect.

Re: 301 redirection and other issues?
I notice when doing the for one of my sites, that it took several weeks to resolve. So if you don't mind waiting (in terms of potential revenue lost) that's ok. I always advice never change a index link once it's get ranked. If you can avoid that, do so. But if you have to, it will be a while before 'ALL' your page show up in the serps. Decide if it worth it.
