still problem

sir i m still having problem in the update query.i use the syntax withour brackets,

i used the syntax

Code:

stmt.executeUpdate("UPDATE tabel SET NAME='"+name+"'");

now suggest me what to do.

Field and table names are case-sensitive.Try printing your SQL query before executing it.
