Kon-Boot is an prototype piece of software which allows to change contents of a linux kernel (and now Windows kernel 



also!!!) on the fly (while booting). In the current compilation state it allows to log into a linux system as 'root' 



user without typing the correct password or to elevate privileges from current user to root. For Windows systems it 



allows to enter any password protected profile without any knowledge of the password.

Tutorial

There are two methods to use Kon-Boot.
One is to burn it to a disc (CD/DVD), the other is to put it on a bootable flash drive.
The latter is a lot more trouble.

Lets cover the disc method first

Download Kon-Boot.
Burn it with Nero, PowerISO or your favorite burning tool.
Reboot and select your cd/dvd-rom as the bootup device in your BIOS.
Done ! On the next screen you should be able to enter anyone's account

USB Flash

Download the latest version of UNetbootin and install it

In the Kon-Boot archive you downloaded extract the Floppy Disk file to get the FD0-konboot-v1.1-2in1.img file.

Plug your USB flash drive into your computer.

Run UNetbootin, select DiskImage, Use the drop down menu and select Floppy and browse for the file you extracted

(FD0-konboot-v1.1-2in1.img)

Ensure that all the settings point to the correct flash drive.

Restart your pc and boot from your USB flash drive.

On the UNetbootin screen select default. You should now see the Kon-Boot bootscreen

Viola !
