if we are refering to webdesign as a building markup code then it can affect seo: usage of headings (h1, h2...) alternative text to images and so on.

the design of the site helps to find the google crwler a no of things

1) the meta, h1 title tags help to make the pages relavent to keywords
2) a good nav system helps to make sitelinks (which a very attractive feature)
3) of the sites downlaod time is low there's a chance of fast crawling rate (u cna adjut it f corse)\

but hacing a good design is always good :D

2. Do not use excessive banner advertisements
3. Make sure your website is easy to navigate
4. Make sure visitor knows where they are on your site
5. Try not to use audio on your site

Hello I have heard of SEO is prefer Html to Asp.We are Trade company about Boat Accessories and Fishing Accessories.Some months ago, i built my website by other compay.But now, i find the website is aspx.How can i transfer this asp to html? Could you please give me some advice?Thank you！

Page can have anything in background like ASP / ASP.NET / PHP / CGI but final output is always in HTML and so you don't need to convert anything.
