to all the members, your help are very welcome. i am concerned on how to make list of articles where i can see live hits on the other column whenever an article within my site has been read..

like:

ARTICLES HITS
Article One 22
Article Two 17

displaying the number of page views (hits)

let's say for a template view it will show how many times that template was viewed. but this i wanna show in my site how many times the article was viewed. i don't know if i have explained it right :confused:

See you need to do couple of things.

When someone views the Article you should increase the counter in the database by 1
Then when someone views the counter or when you want to display it just display the number from the database.

wow.. i think i will really be needing to do a couple of things here... does it mean whenever a page was viewed i will increase the counter on the database manually? sorry.. new with it
