Editing data in a form in MS Access
I have lost my Access guru and have a database that he designed that is having a problem that I am not equipped to troubleshoot. I was hoping that someone out there might be able to clear something up for me.
The database has a switchboard item that opens a form from a query. When the form opens, I want to be able to edit the data in the fields in the form. Should this work? Have I provided enough information? Thanks |

Yes it should work.

OK, now that I know that it should work, what can I do to troubleshoot it not working. When I have the form open, I can't edit any of the fields. I don't get an error message, just an "exclamation" beep when I try to do the edit.
Thanks again, Bart |
