Hi !!!
Well, Hi all its my first post in your forum, and I really like it, you have alot of important subjects and too much ways to help the people, and these things what couraged me to ask for your help.
I've my own forum and it's VB 3.6.8 and I wanted to make something and it's :
to color the nicks of the members depending on their posts count.
for example :
New user 0-50 brown
Active user 50-500 purple.

Does anyone know how I would do that and which *.php responsible of the post count ?.

I wish to find help from your page, thanks alot.

You can do it using vB and user groups and promotion.

You create needed user groups

Then you go ahead with the Promotion to promote the user from one user group to other based on post count.

Now each user group should have its own markup language to give different color to the username.

See your color and mine and its done using this only

Thanks for replying me.
I know this way, but it means that I need to follow the members and their post counts all the time, to promote them.
But I want this to be automatic way.
So do you have any idea how I would do that ?

Define the promotion level. Its Automated.

Hi again
here what I've made :
1- New Groups with different colors.
2- New promotion level.

everything is Normal one problem :
some of the member still the same the Promotion is changed but the Groups that responsible of the color did not chanfe, and its only for some not all.

what would be the problem ?

Sorry I forget to say, that some users have been changed, and other did not even they should be promoted to the same new Group.

The promotion takes place in a scheduled task and as it runs more and more member eligible would get converted but if you would like to update them instantly run the scheduled task.
