How can I sort the contents of a desktop toolbar?
 

I have a desktop toolbar (Windows XP Pro) on which I would like the items sorted. I would like to create a program that will sort these items. I have worked in VBA, VBScript, and some VB.Net. I think I can work it out if I just knew where to find the information.
