Using ISO/Disk Images
 

Hi guys, first time poster. I was wandering about making ISO images and the like. To my understanding there is a way to take a program that is installed on one computer and make a disk image of it and use it on another computer without installing any software, or using a disk. Am I totally off base here. For instance my friend has some software that I want, but don't want to pay the money for it. If he has it installed on his system, is there a way for me to "burn" that program and use it on my computer? Thanks for any responses.

lot of programs ranging from poweriso, magiciso, ISO dvd burner. Jus google it man

cool, thanks guys. So I should be able to burn the folder that has the software installed in using PowerISO onto a disk, then transfer that to my computer using PowerISO and it should run. What about any files that are not in that folder. will it reference any files that aren't in that folder. Never done this, so not sure on everything I need to do.

PowerISO is really good for creating ISO/Disk Images, but the virtual drive isn't that good, many applications don't detect that as a drive at all, while other have problem reading from it. You should try Daemon Tools it's the best virtual drive. www.daemon-tools.cc
