Want to learn programming!
 

Hi everyone,

I thought this would be a good place to get some advice on how I can get into programming! I've just graduated with a degree in econ & am about to start work in an i-bank. I reeally want to learn the basics of programming at least but I have no idea where to start!

I've been looking around on the internet trying to find places that offer courses etc but I don't know how to judge courses on quality / reputation etc

Can anyone reccommend places in London (pref central london) that teach C++ / Unix / Java / VBA? Maybe somewhere that I can take evening classes, get a certificate / diploma or something ...

Would really appreciate any help!
