    hi everyone.............
i am a newbie to win32 desktop development using C . i have a question to ask regarding desktop development . i want to implement window drawing in win32 development but i am not able to figure the libraries and header to use. i tried GDI+ but it requires seperate packaging of libraries and headers for running on platforms prior to XP . So if you can suggest a imaging library kind of thing which i can use to draw images on window.
currently my requirement is to read a PNG file from buffer and paint it on screen.

    Thank You

No, GDI+ doesn't require anything except the DLL
