Hi basically i am doing some work on a file. Part way through i need to stream a certain amount of bytes from the file and save them into another file. I have used seek.g to locate the specif point within the file that i want to stream the bytes from but that is when i get stuck. Say i want to stream a 1000 bytes fro that particular point in the file. Is there a way to set up a limit for the amount of bytes streamed??

    any help would be appreciated!

    thanks
