Hacking Darkages server for gold

Ok theres a game named Darkages, which u can find on darkages.com This game is very fun but its hard to obtain gold so i asked my white hacker friend how could i hack gold from the server. He said i would have to change packets or something. Well i dont understand how to do that so could somebody use Darkages as an example and show me how to hack the gold. Its easy install to which only takes like 3mins at the most and im not going to do anything dumb with it i just need to get enough to get on my feet. plz and ty
