    Hi Guys,

I'm developing a MFC application. How do we set video (mp4, AVI ect..) as a wallpaper behind the desktop icons?

    I'm using VS 2008 and Win 7

    Thank you,
    Anam G

Haven't heard of anything like that is possible. Can you have video as wallpaper in Windows?

    Thanks for the reply,

I want the video to be play on desktop behind the icon on Windows 7. I saw Microsoft provide Dreamscenes but it does not work with Window 7.

    Thanks,
    Anam G

Dreamscenes will work, but you have to run it in compatibility mode as XP. To do this go to C:/Program Files/Dreamscenes find the application and right-click on it, select properties, the compatibility, run as Windows XP Service Pack 3. Done.
