Go to the Resource View and Click on Add Item

Iam Not able to set the ID of that particular bmp file which I inserted in resource .Do i have to insert it manually or it will automatically generated .I think Iam missing some step

It should be an auto generated but then you can always Add by clicking right click and see the property of the resource.
