A reciprocal link is a mutual link between two websites in order to ensure mutual traffic.

Your reciprocal is the web page which should contain useful links with whom you're going to exchange links. The reciprocal url often looks like a resource page. The links on the reciprocal url must be based on quality and subject relavency and not page rank basis alone. ref: reciprocal URL | homepage

Reciprocal link is the link that you have to place on your sites if you also have wish to place your link on other webmaster's site. It is a type of link exchange and help both sites.

Thanks

I always like to create reciprocal links for my sites! Itís really works. It is a link of two high PR websites to back to your sites, thatís I think!

Hello Vicky ! there are mainly two types of directories , one which do not ask for reciprocal linking and the second which ask for reciprocal linking. those which do not ask for reciprocal links are good source of one way links. DMOZ is one of the best in this category although its a bit slow to approve. If you opt to submit your site to directories which want reciprocal linking then you will have to give them a site on which you can place their links.

I assume that your are new in the field of Internet so I would recommend those directories which do not ask for reciprocal linking.
