i just got a laptop and well, it has vista on it. and i have been using it for several days now and i was woundering. why do people keep badmouthing it. the only problems i find with it is that it is a little heavy with the whole security thing, always asking if you want to allow stuff. other then that it is perfectly fine. anyone know somthing that i have not stumbled apon.

Its not good for you to install any softwares for development in C drive ( System drive ). I also use the Vista Business on my Laptop and works fine and I am able to work around things and now I am used to these things.

Google

That pretty much sums it up.

Its nothing really new or innovative. The security is no better than Windows XP. The UI and security seems to just get in the way. imo, its just a bloated piece of junk. Sure some people like it but id say 80% of people that aren't just using it for web browsing and word documents dislike it.
