Is it normal that after 4 months a site still has no page rank assigned to it or rather a rank of 0.

I have requested many links although many have not shown up yet when queried under line:sitedomain.

Just looking for input.

Google does not update the backlinks as well as the Toolbar PR very regularly and update it almost every 3 months. You can refer to the following article

Now it has not been updated for quite some time and the update is due as of now and you may get the update. Some data centers is already updated and some are in process but if you dont get to see the green thing in the toolbar dont worry but continue to build your site and it is a thing which will be coming naturally.

Do not rely on google to show you anything of values regarding your site these days. The datacenters are not not updated evenly, leading to more confusion about PR and all related stuff.

Regarding backlinks, you can create a google account and check out how many backlinks you got really. It will not show you all the links and also not all the links pass value, yet it is something to look at to satisfy yourself

yea, google is all about making money, now msn index my website, but google didnt

Google takes time to index but when it index correctly you will see lots of referral from G but not from MSN

Our traffic 70% from G, yours may have something wrong certainly
