the main difference is you should watch where you link to ( outbound links) , link only to related sites with helpful content. Who links to you (inbound links) wont really hurt your site because you can't really control that.

Outbound Link(OBL) is a link from your website to another website it can add value to your site by providing useful information to users. And you site's back links are called also called as inbound links.

Hi,
For a site: An outbound link is the link which starts at your site and ends to any other site. An inbound link, starts from any other site and ends at your site. For a web page: An outbound link is the link which starts at your web page and ends to other web page (may be other page of your site). An inbound link, starts from any other web page and ends at a particular page of your site. |
