I have heard CentOS is best for servers.
Some say Arch Linux is best for power users.

Obviously opinions vary !

i have been using fedora for about 2 years now, and i have not had a problem with it. if you have never used a unix system before it will probably take some time to get used to but i think you will probably take a liking to it.
