The best way to learn HTML is just to have some ebooks and starting with MS Frontpage or any other which just writes HTML from the front end and then you see the code as what its all and learning through it.

Also viewing the source of some web pages can also help how its all about.

googling with "HTML tutorials" will give you enough links to start with.
